Well. I flew into Denver yesterday around 12:25, stalked some people who I recognized from my flight in order to find the baggage claim (it was on the entire other side of the airport - I had to take a train and make some turns, etc.), lugged allll of my things around the airport and found some lunch, talked to my parents on the phone, and then met Lauren, Katie, and Alex (Gabriel, angel of the Lord) and the 4 of us drove to Buena Vista (a 3ish hour drive - but the most beautiful drive I've ever been on) in Alex's tiny truck (my knees were touching the driver's seat, and I had like 3 bags piled on top of me - but it was just the way I like it). Buena Vista is in the valley, between beautiful mountains. And it is down-town Fairhope, just with Mountains all around, not the bay.
Anyways, today we did 8 hours of Wilderness Advanced First Aid training through NOLS. It was actually pretty interesting. A lot better than life-guarding/first aid/cpr classes that I've taken before. But I am so tired.
I took this picture on the drive to BV, from Denver:
This is the house I'm living in this summer. Yes, those mountains are in my backyard.
AHHH!!! You are there! Those pics are AMAZING!!! Keep updating when you can. Lovelovelove
