So It's Official

Well. I've been slacking so much in my blogging. (I'm very sorry SB. You have been so faithful. I love all of your posts.) Last week I had my Organic Chemistry lab final on Wednesday, so I spent Monday and Tuesday studying for it, then Thursday was Spring Fling and Mat Kearney, so I was busy allll day.

But this weekend I surprised my mom and dad and drove down to their house on Friday afternoon. I made it in my usual 3 hour and 30 minutes. I play this game with myself of trying to drive all the way without stopping. Which is tricky, because I alllways have to pee. Out of every time I've driven down there this year, I think I've only stopped on one of the trips. That's a winning season.

Annnyways. Nathan had a little-league game Friday night, so I went to that and it was so fun. He played very well and they won, and the rain held off until the game was over.

He plays first base for the Mets. And he's number 1, which makes cheering very easy. Because I can yell things like "Go Nathan! You're #1!"

OH. And I got to go to Michael's house Friday night, for the first time since like October. So fun. I went over there before everyone else did, so for like 30 minutes we just hung out and talked and joked around while I worked on some stuff on my computer and he played Call of Duty. It was so nice to just relax and not worry about anything. And of course all of the treats at Michael's house made it even better. I can't wait till he comes to BSC next year!

So I'm just going to be honest - this may be my last post until Friday or Saturday. I have my CP and Concepts exams on Wednesday, an Organic test on Thursday, and my Organic and Anatomy finals on Friday. Soooo. Yeah. I made myself a schedule for today, tomorrow, and Tuesday, and it's sad. There are like 5-10 minutes between my study sessions. I get like one 1 hour break each day. My thinking cap will spend a lot of time on my head this week as I sit at my desk. And I will bring it to my exams too. Haha.

Let me think.

It's 12:41 am. I haven't been able to sleep lately. My average bed time for the past week or two has been between 1 and 2. Which is very different compared to my usual 11:30ish bedtime. I also haven't been very hungry this week. I'm not sure what the deal is. I haven't been super stressed. Or at least I don't think I have. (The amount of pain in my stomach from the acid usually indicates how stressed I am, and it has been fine.)

So yeah. Next week at this time I will be in Colorado. I said goodbye to my family, Bethany, Tyler, SK, David, and Michael this afternoon. It was weird. This Saturday will also be so weird when I say goodbye to all the Samford people. And Sunday, when I say goodbye to SB and I actually walk onto the plane will be surreal. I'm sad to leave, but also so excited. I just wish my last 5 days weren't going to be spend at my desk studying. :(

But it'll be over soon!

Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
