So I'm Back

Well I've been at Noah's for a few weeks now, and it's been good. Hard. Tiring.

We trained on the river for 6 days, all paddle boats, and it was really good. Really fun. But very cold. We spent 5 days backpacking this week, and that was not as fun. They blindfold us, send us out in groups of 4 into the wilderness, and we have to figure out where we are and how to get to the coordinates that they gave us. But my group was none of my good buddies, so that was really hard and not very fun. But then on the second day we all met up, so it was especially good to see all of my second-year girls again, and my good guy friends. We did some more things, but it's over now. Praise God.

I start commercial trips on Tuesday, so I'm a little nervous about that, but it should be good. The water is starting to get big. It's cranking. The snow-pack is ridiculous this year, so hopefully it'll be a continuous high-water year, as opposed to last year, where it got HUGE for a week, then was just mediocre the rest of the summer. But we shall see.

None of those words were interesting.

So It's Almost That Time

Well I didn't wait three months to blog this time! However, I did get to spent alllll last week studying for an analytical chem test that I had on Friday, and then I spent this weekend studying for my geography and physiology exams that I had today, and now soup and rice - I am studying for my analytical chem exam that's on Wednesday. But after 12:30 on Wednesday, I am done! And I will officially be done with undergrad. At the ripe age of 20.

The remainder of this week holds a little more promise. First off, SB is home, so hopefully I can see her ASAP. Watching chick-flicks and hanging out sounds a littttle more fun than chemistry. Yay. Concerning Samford though, I have a tonn of RA things to do, errands to run, friends to hang out with, etc. And on Thursday a couple of people are going to our friend Daniel's lake house, till Friday afternoon, so I am excited. Thennn, on Saturday morning, Jeff graduates, we are heading straight to Huntsville for his best friend's wedding, and then off to Colorado! We are driving the 4runner, so I am pumped. Minus the whole driving and sitting in the car for 24 hours. But that's ok. It'll be worth it.

Ok. Back to studying. Fun times.
